Zucchini from Beauvoir!

Oven dish of zucchini with mini tomatoes.....mmmm...... so nice!

This afternoon Mark was here, he also was back from his vacation. He went to a rather crazy country, Bulgaria but it was nice there he said. He was in a hotel where he could eat as much as he wanted the whole day long. He just had to wear a plastic band, some sort of ribbon around his wrist the entry vacation and he could order everything he wanted. There were as many swimming pools there as there were with us in Italy.

We watched a DVD this afternoon and afterwards played with Timmie and we also played a couple of Jenga games.

This morning at breakfast we had the melon we got from Ria from Domaine de Beauvoir it really was very nice and very juicy!

Tonight Mom made a nice oven dish from the Zucchini we also got from Ria. That were very crazy zucchinis, real round ones, never seen them before, but they tasted really so nice!

Round zucchini... so odd man!

They seem so strange but they taste so great, their even nicer than the ordinary long green ones we have here in the Netherlands. Nicest of it all is that I’ve picked them myself from the vegetable garden at Domaine de Beauvoir and that they are on my plate this evening here in the Netherlands…... that is so cool man!

Our dinner tonight......

Go and play with Timmie for a while.... bye...see you tomorrow!

Rain, rain and more rain!

Rainbow at the control tower at Schiphol airport....

Today when I got up it rained again! So it’s dry and a few minutes later it rains again…..This afternoon we went to Hoofddorp (a village a few miles from here) and had a nice hamburger at Burger King. I only had to mention a few times that I like the Burger King hamburger so much when Dad said that we would go there and have a burger. Ooooh…. it was a really nice burger, much nicer than the hamburgers at McDonalds!

On our way back home we passed Schiphol airport and there was a really beautiful rainbow, just near the control tower of the airport! The sky was entirely black, strange sight it was.

Go and watch some TV…… bye …see you tomorrow!

Shopping day!

Bought the famous meatballs from Ikea…….

Today then we got up it was raining terribly, even more than it did yesterday….. Bah.... what a dirty weather it is in the Netherlands..... In Italy and in the South of France it was so nice, more over 88 F degrees! Wish I was still there…......

This afternoon we went shopping, bought some things for my birthday party were going to celebrate next Thursday. At Ikea of course we have bought the famous meatballs….. Those ones are so nice! This year for the first time we cannot celebrate my birthday party outside in our garden, too cold and much too wet, that’s so sad! But perhaps it nevertheless will improve, you’ll never know.

It’s late already... go upstairs….see you tomorrow!

My birthday!

Cake with 11 candles........

Yesterday morning we have left from Beauvoir. It was again very nice there! I did play a lot with Mho the dog.

I also I picked a lot of vegetables from the vegetable garden, melons, tomatoes and much more.....

All the vegetables I got from Ria, all these vegetables I picked myself from the vegetable garden, nice he?

The swimmingpool in Domaine de Beauvoir.

I also swum in their new swimming pool, only when I got half out of the water it was rather cold.

Dinner at Domaine de Beauvoir with all the guests and Ria and Stan.....

After we left Domaine de Beauvoir we went to Roubaix 8 kilometers from the Belgian border. This city became very famous by the cycling races which are held there every year and we slept there in a beautiful hotel in the centre part of the city.

Roubaix... the cycling races city.....

Yesterday we have also bought some beautiful Nike clothes here in Roubaix for me which where on sale and very, very cheap, a training suit, a body warmer and a nice sweater. The training suit I got for my birthday, I wanted that for so long but they are so expensive here in the Netherlands…that’s so cool man!

All Nike clothing for a couple of Euro's and of course in the color red which is my favorite color.

This morning when I woke up it was my birthday…... We left the hotel rapidly so we would arrive early in the afternoon back home.

When we got home in the afternoon Grandpa and Grandma came by to bring me my birthday present, a beautiful glass decoration to put in my collectors cabin and I also got some money (I'm saving for a new TV). It was really great!

At night we were invited by Grandpa and Grandma to go out for dinner at Mr. Wong here in our village….....oooohhhh.....that is always so cool there!

I also got a great celebration dessert with some fireworks in it, so cool man!

What a fire eh?

Me and my celebration dessert….. with the woman who made my dessert….

It was a great day… but now I’ll go to bed…..sleeping in my own bed....mmmmmm....that’s great! Bye… see you tomorrow!

I'm back!

Today we got back from our vacation. We had a wonderful time!

We left on Friday the 11th of august and slept in the city Ratfeld in Austria. The next morning we left for a 8 day’s stay in Italy in Venice. We stayed there in a Mobil home and it was very cool there. There were 6 swimming pools and the beach was even nearer then the pools, just at the end of the street where our Mobil home was.

I had a friend there his name was Stijn and I played with him al the time. We had a lot of fun and we will talk again by MSN when we are back home again.

We went by boat to the San Marco square which was a very nice trip. I saw the gondola’s and bought a lot of souvenirs.

After 8 days we left Venice and went to see the tower of Pisa in the city of Pisa.
The next morning we left and continued our trip to Nice and Saint Tropez which was very busy and we were 3 hours in a traffic jam before we finally got there.

Our next stop was Toulon were we made a boat trip to see the Charles de Gaulle. The most famous boat of France, which maybe they are going to use in the war in Lebanon.

So our trip went on to Beauvoir where we were at the beginning of June also. I played there with Mho the dog and had a great time there. I picked the vegetables from the vegetable garden and Ria from Domaine de Beavoir gave them to me to take home.

Our last stop was at Roubaix at the Belgian border and when I woke up Saturday morning it was my birthday!

You can see the pictures of the whole trip on the Dutch version of the site……

Earthquake?

Seismograph.....

This morning I heard on the radio that there was an earthquake in Groningen with the strength of 3.5 on the scale of Richter! It was the heaviest earthquake ever measured in the North part of the Netherlands. Fortunately there was not much damage only a couple of houses got some cracks in the walls. It wasn’t the first time that there was an earthquake in Groningen and they say that there is much more to come. It’s all the result of the gas winning in Groningen, how more gas they obtains from the ground the more chance there is on earthquakes. I think that’s quite scary.

Today I went with Dad to his work. We have also been not only in the building in
Amsterdam but also to Hoofddorp (a city a few miles from here). There we had a lot of things to do; it was rather cool to do a real job there!

Go and read for awhile in my new book…bye…see you tomorrow!

Hoooowwwwhhhh, what's that?

Nice face eh?

This afternoon Mark and I went to the village centre. I had to hand in my book at the library just before we go on vacation. But at first we have been to the Marskramer because Mark wanted to buy a new game for his computer.

Afterwards Mark wanted to buy some sweets and he bought me also a nice lollypop, it’s a coca cola lollypop attached to a baby soother, only the soother is a big mouth (lips) with teeth, cool eh?

Go and read a few pages in my new book I bought last weekend… it’s so exciting! The computer witch of Francine Oomen... really so good!

See you tomorrow!

Ras fries?

Nice fries!

This afternoon I went cycling in our neighborhood and so I run into Patrick, Justin and Mark, they were fishing in the little lake near our school. After awhile They went to the snack bar to have a portion of Raspatat (a special sort of French fries) that looked very nice! Those fries are made in a special machine from mashed potatoes and then baked like normal fries, strange type fries.
Then I rapidly went home to obtain money so I could buy myself a portion of that strange looking fries.

Wooooouuuwww…. That tasted good, I loved it! I had never eaten this, but I will take it again some day…its really pretty nice…..

Wildlife Tycoon...

When I returned home I just sat behind my computer, playing my new game Wildlife Tycoon, such a cool game. There you can build zoos with all types of animals, which you have to take care of. This game I can play for hours and hours after another and it is different every time you play it.....

Go and play the game for awhile …..bye…see you tomorrow!

Party-time again in Artis!

The day before yesterday the polar bear Tania got a lot of snow to play in…...

Yesterday evening there was in the newspaper that the polar bear Tania in Artis got a very nice surprise... When she went outside in the morning there was a very thick package of snow on her playing ground, real snow!

The animal keepers let a snow blower blow the entire night. Tania liked the snow very much! Perhaps if the heat comes back they will do it again, that’s what I just read on the Artis internet site, great eh? Wooouuuww…. I have to see that!

See you later!

Ajax is playing!

The square in front of the Amsterdam Arena …one hour before the LG Amsterdam Tournament starts...

This afternoon Mark and I played a little game of Disney Monopoly, the only bad thing was that Mark won the game….... gggggrrrr.... I’ll beat you next time Mark!

Later this afternoon when Dad came home we went to the MediaMarkt in Amsterdam. Our phone stopped doing it so we need a new one and at the MediaMarkt they have lots of them. It was very busy on the square in front of the Amsterdam Arena because the LG Amsterdam Tournament would start at 7.00PM. Tonight at 9.15PM Ajax must play against Inter....exciting! It’s great to see all those people who are just having dinner at FEBO before they go into the stadium. The dustbin is already entirely full man..........

We didn’t succeed in finding the right new phone but it was nevertheless a nice afternoon. Afterwards when we went back to the parking area, that is on the roof of the MediaMarkt, we watched the Arena. When you looked carefully through one of the windows you could see the stand and when I went down on my knees I even could see the field.....so cool man, I would love to see the game.

On the roof of the MediaMarkt when you look through one of the windows you can see the stand in the Arena….

I did buy a cool game at the MediaMarkt a racing game “On the road” with beautiful trucks which I can play on my new laptop. When we came home I immediately started to play it, great game man!

Go and watch some football on TV, Ajax is playing now …bye... see you tomorrow!

Disney Monopoly...

This afternoon when Mom came home from work Mark and I went to our place and we played a game of Disney Monopoly. That is a cool game man! We have played it for hours and still it wasn’t finished.

Yindee's birthday!

Yindee, with her Daddy, Mummy and aunt eating the birthday cake..... Yindee is standing right in the middle of it!

This morning we left early for Artis. Yindee would get a beautiful birthday cake at 11.15AM, entirely made of vegetables and fruits... she became one year old today!

It was a real party... At exactly 11.15AM at first Daddy and Mummy and aunt of Yindee came outside where a very big birthday cake was ready for all of them. Then all the people outside started to scream Yindee, Yindee and another door opened and yes there she was…Yindee. Everyone started singing immediately "Happy birthday too you, happy birthday too you". Yindee immediately went to the large cake where Daddy, Mummy and her aunt already had started eating the birthday cake.

What do them elephants eat a lot man! An entire loaf of bread, red and white cabbages and much more as if it was nothing, just a small bite. It was a beautiful sight, really great to see!

Entrance Yindee's home'......................In Yindee's home

The TV also was at Yindee's.......Little Jeanet entirely on her own

Afterwards we went to see the new giraffe Jeanet….. ... Man she is so sweet…..... She is so small and sometimes entirely on her own in that big cage, when her mother is out for a walk…..

It was a very nice day….. but now I go to bed....bye…see you tomorrow!
