Just 5 days till St.Nicholas day!

This afternoon I worked further on my St. Nicholas surprise for school. But then I had to stop because it has to dry before I can work further on it.

For this reason I have started with Mom to make a St. Nicholas poem that has to accompany the surprise.
Oh man I hate making poems, that’s so hard to do… For this reason Mom has helped me a little, otherwise I won’t come further as:

Book market!

All new books...

Today Mom went to Amsterdam there was a book market. That book market is only once a year and there you can buy books for €1, ($1,31) or €2,- ($2,62) really very nice and beautiful books. She took along four books for me, they are really cool!

I started to read in one immediately this afternoon. That one is so cool, it’s about a boy who went to Spain and he visited exactly those spots where we also went in Spain, so great man.

Back to school!

Started again today….

This morning I felt pretty good no longer feeling sick so I went back to school.

So I did my TOPO test today, which wasn’t possible yesterday because of my illness. I made only one mistake, a very stupid mistake! I wrote down India instead of Iran, oooohhh... I felt so stupid about that, but I got a 91/2 (A-) which is still a beautiful mark!

Today sick at home…

Really not feeling well…...

Yesterday evening it already started and I didn’t sleep all night just of the stomach aching, so today I stayed home from school.

This morning I stayed in my bed and this afternoon it went a bit better so I stayed on the couch in the living room. Fortunately the stomach aching has gone, I’m so happy ….. ppppfff...

India....

India and the countries around it....

Today I worked on me homework almost the entire day; I had spelling and TOPO to do. Tomorrow we’re having a TOPO test of India and the countries around it. Well that’s rather difficult with all of those crazy places, Varanasi, Bhutan, Rangoon that’s all very hard to learn.

Afterwards I worked on my St. Nicholas surprise, Ooooh man it really becomes very nice! But now I am tired and go I to my bed... bye….see you tomorrow!

Busy day....

Sinterklaas at the shopping centre Gelderlandplein in Amsterdam Buitenveldert......

This afternoon after the bowling-training we went shopping at the Gelderlandplein in Amsterdam to buy presents. There we run into St. Nicholas and his Black Music Pieters.

We had to buy presents for 6 anniversaries, yes for 6 birthdays! Dewi and Jim had their birthday a few days ago, they are our neighbor children, Ashlyn their big sister was celebrating her birthday today, and their mother had her birthday a few weeks ago. So we visited them this afternoon to celebrate all of their birthdays together.

We also bought some more presents for Ruud and Femke, Femke had her birthday 2 weeks ago and Ruud had his birthday yesterday, so tonight we paid them a visit and gave them their presents. It was a pretty busy day.... but now I go to bed... bye….see you tomorrow!

Making music with Bo….

Bo is participating….

This afternoon when I started to play my trumpet, Bo participated so great. Immediately when I started to play Bo started to bark and when I stopped he stopped too. It sounded so funny!

Afterwards I started to make my St. Nicholas Surprise for school. Last week we have drawn lots and I will make something very, very nice for the one which I have drawn.

But I won't tell who I drew at school and I also won’t tell what I will make, only that it is a lot much work.... but that does matter, I like to do this. Yes.... what will it be…...? Exciting eh?

Enjoying a movie!

Charlie and the Chocolate factory….

This afternoon after school Mark and I watching the movie Charlie and the chocolate factory. Man that is really a cool movie! Unfortunately Bo didn’t like it at all. We had set the sound of the stereo pretty loud and the sound went through the entire living room….. no.... Bo didn’t like it, he hated it.

Tonight I watched the news, which was all about yesterday's elections. I don’t understand it all but they say that it will last a long time before there is a new government. The Socialist Party, the SP of Jan Marijnissen got a lot of votes, but they aren’t so sure they can participate in the government. Accchhh..... we’ll see…..

Just on our way to the polling-booth…….

This afternoon when school went out Mom and Bo were waiting for me outside. Then we went to the polling-booth which was in a school just beside my school. Mom allowed me to press the buttons from the machine for her; it looked just as if I voted myself. Bo liked it there, he got a lot of attention from the people behind the tables, so cool!

I will go and watch some TV, have to see some of the results, I’m so curious who will win the elections, so exciting…... But that we will see tomorrow! Bye…see you tomorrow!

Political debate...

Tonight there are only programs of the political parties and debates on TV, because tomorrow it’s Election Day.

I just watched the big political debate on TV for a while; all the big parties were participating. Man so cool to see that. They talk all by each other and nobody let the other one speak through. There even was one who never answered one question; he always started another discussion, which was so stupid man! Well we’ll see who will win the elections tomorrow…

The judgment of my book discussion.

This afternoon at last I had my book discussion. It all went rather well, I got 8 ( B++) for it. I’m so happy that it’s all over now!

Tonight after the bowling I saw on the computer that aunt Suze from Canada had sent me some photographs of the Santa Claus parade over there. I think it’s so cool man a Santa Claus parade, we don’t have that over here…..

Tomorrow, book discussion!

This is the book where I’m going to talk about for my book discussion….... Pain-killers from Carry Slee…..

This morning Mom and I started making a poster for my book discussion which I’m doing at school tomorrow. We have been drawing almost the entire day. We started to draw at 9.00AM this morning and only stopped just for one hour this afternoon because Ruud with Roy and Thomas came by to have a look at Bo. But immediately after they left we went on drawing again and we just finished it just now at 8.30PM..
It really became pretty beautiful, but now I must really go to bed....bye….see you tomorrow!

The arrival of St. Nicholas in our village!

Watching the boat of St. Nicholas….

This morning we have been with Bo to the arrival of St. Nicholas just here in our village. Man Bo liked it all, but was also a bit scared, all those black Pieters and all those people, it was very crowded. He could not walk for himself to many people who would kick him, much too busy. For this reason Dad carried him.

Also the band Prince Willem Alexander of our village was there, to accompany St. Nicholas to a party hall.
It was grand party in our village....

After we watched St. Nicholas we went to Purmerend to Granddad Frans to show him Bo. But Bo was very tired of the party of St. Nicholas and fell a sleep pretty soon after we arrived at granddad’s.

Now we have to stop blogging we have to give Bo his medicines. He is improving happily. He not so hoarse anymore and his ears are not that red anymore. See you tomorrow!

Bo is sick!

Bo’s medicines......

This morning Bo wasn’t feeling good. His ears were troubling him and he was sneezing all the time and he was still hoarse.

Mom and Dad went with Bo to the vet when I was at school this afternoon. He had indeed inflamed ears and an inflammation of the throat. He got 2 injections with antibiotics from the doctor and now he has to take a couple of tablets per day. He also got 2 bottles with eardrops which he has to take a few times a day.

The doctor thinks that he is sick because of the injections he got last week. Those injections are really mean and it’s possible the dog gets sick then. Bo is a bit sad and I feel pity for him…. Fortunately he is a sleep now so he won’t feel any pain…..... I also go to bed....bye….see you tomorrow!

After dinner Bo always has to see how Timmie is doing… ... OOoohhh... fat tummy after dinner….....

This afternoon after lunch I immediately did my homework and afterwards I helped Niels delivering the newspapers.

After that I went with Mark and Romay to our home, to play with Bo and we also played a game on the computer.

Tonight after dinner Dad and I let Bo out, and Bo went straight on to Timmie’s hutch, he always has to see how Timmie’s is doing. That is so cool to see man! On the picture you can see that Bo just had his dinner, his tummy is so fat man, so sweet to see!

Go now Dad and I have to go to the shopping centre to get Timmie some straw and hay….. bye…see you tomorrow!

So glad we didn’t buy cheese here!

Cheese making farmer in Deurningen, Twente (the east part of the Netherlands)....

Tonight was on the news a cheese making farmer in Deurningen in Twente. There in the east part of the Netherlands 140 people became sick after eating cheese which came from that farm.

Man we have been lucky! Two weeks ago when we had our fall break (vacation) we were in Twente and we’ve been on that farm, I recognized it immediately when I saw the pictures on the news! Happily we didn’t buy any cheese there, but Mom, however, almost did because it looked so delicious, but she didn’t buy it. We only bought some farmers jam ... pppppffffhhhhh.... how lucky we are! What would have happened if we did buy and had eaten that cheese…..

Tonight after dinner we played a little soccer game in our living room with Bo with a very tiny soccer ball.

He really loved it! Running and growling at the ball, he went through the entire living room just behind the ball.

But now he is going to sleep, he is a little sick. He was sneezing the entire day and is as hoarse as a frog. I also go upstairs... bye….see you tomorrow!

A nice play...

This afternoon after school I have helped Granddad sawing the old dead branches in the garden, which was a nice job!

A few minutes after I returned home Ruud and Thomas came by with a present for Bo a cool rope with a tennis ball attached to it, such a cool thing! Thomas couldn’t wait to see Bo so they came by.

Man that is a very cool rope, Bo is crazy about the rope. He throws and sways and flies with it through the entire house. Well Thomas and Ruud, Bo is very, very, happy with the present, thanks!

Where is Bo?

Bo has found his perfect place to sleep!

Bo always sleeps in his kennel. He has got a very nice and warm space there with a warm blanket and a very soft pillow to sleep on.

A couple of days ago he has turned the zipper of his pillow all to pieces and now it won’t close anymore.

This morning we couldn’t find Bo, where was he? I went looking for him in the entire house. Mr. Bo was asleep in his kennel in his pillow, he really went into the pillow where the zipper was broken and was fast asleep there… Immediately when we saw him we made a picture of him, he was so sweet in there….

12e price!

Here am I obtaining my price....

This morning at 8.00 AM I was already throwing my first game at the bowling………... pppfffhhhh... it was, however, pretty early!

The match went pretty good, so good that I had to play in the finals at 3.00 PM this afternoon. That didn’t turn out very well but I still got the 12e position in the finals list and so at 6.00PM I could pick up my price at €7,50 ($9,70), quite good eh?

I’m rather tired by now so I’ll go to bed….see you tomorrow!

Tomorrow bowling-tournament!

Tomorrow morning I have to be at the bowling at 7.30AM because there will be the 27e Haarlemmerliede bowling tournament!

I have to throw my first series at 8.00AM…it’s to crazy….8.00AM that’s no time to begin a game…
However, very exciting man, I’ll go to bed now have to rise early….bye…see you tomorrow!

All chocolates!

The frame Mark and I made….......

This afternoon after school Mark and I went on working on our school project Charlie and the chocolate factory. Yesterday we stuck on all kinds of pictures of Charlie and Roald Dahl and more.

Today we have stuck on all sorts of real chocolate, chocolate little cars, Kit Kat chocolate, chocolate lollipops and chocolate ginger nuts. Afterwards we framed our work, oh man it became so cool!
Now we only have to finish the little story that will accompany the framework, but that we will do next weekend.

Preparing our school project!

This afternoon Mark and I worked at my home on our school project Charley and chocolate factory. We made a text and stuck pictures on a large piece of paper, it was quite a lot of work but tomorrow we will finish it all.

Tonight Mark, Romey and I delivered the child postage stamps which we received today at school. I didn’t finish them all tonight so I will deliver the last ones tomorrow. After delivering the stamps tonight, we went to our home just to play with Bo. Romey says she is in love with Bo!

Horses to the butcher?

This afternoon I heard on the news that quite a lot of the horses which they saved from the little island are going to the butcher! I don’t believe it! For days so many people have been busy saving those horses and now they are going to the butcher…. that’s too crazy! (Those horses went to that place because the field was flooded because of the high water, see the film , click om the little blue line that says Spectaculaire reddingsactie paarden, just between the photo's in the article)
Now I’m very curious what will happen, everyone is interfering now. Even the new political party for the animals is interfering.

After school Mark and I have been to Ruben’s place, we watched the film Charley and the chocolate factory for our school project. Now we have to make a book discussion at school. We also have to look for the differences between the book and the film because they are not the same.

Me, naughty?

Tonight when we returned from the bowling Bo was very hyper. He only wanted to play, running and biting in everything what came in front of his mouth. He was rolling through the entirely living room and almost flew from left to right.....
Fortunately he is quiet now and looks at you as if he wanted to say…”what’s the matter…. I’m a sweet doggy!”

Building a house!

House of Lego….

This morning at first I have learned my English and after that I went on building on my Lego house which I started yesterday. That really becomes so cool man, beautiful eh?

Afterwards I have removed al the autumn leaves from our garden and all around the house with the leaves machine, which was quite a job man…. it really is fall now!

This afternoon we have done games with Bo. First in the grass of our garden, we threw back and forwards a tennis ball and later on we play another throwing game in the living room with one of Bo’s toys…..Man he loved that! He became very hyper playing that game, but it was a great play.

Saying hi to Joey!

Bo's Mummy at the farm....

This afternoon we have been to Ruud and Femke with Bo. Joey their Jack Russel is also incredible sweet and looks rather pretty much like Bo's Mummy.

They both thought it was a bit crazy. Sniffing each other and sometimes even biting each other a bit. But Bo was rather excited, however, he also found it nevertheless also a bit scary.

In a couple of weeks we will go by again and perhaps they will like it much more….

Flowers!

3 Roses…one from Mom, one from me and one from Bo...

Yesterday Dad had his celebration of his silver jubilee at work, 25 years of work. He came home with all bunches of flowers that he got from the people at work.

Each of us, Mom and I and Bo, gave Dad one rose with on each rose a little card with our name on it, it looked very cool…... Man … you don’t know how many bunches of flowers we have in our home right now!

This is really a very big bunch......

Doing my homework the entire afternoon!

My essay about computers.....

This afternoon when I came home from school I had my lunch and immediately after that I started working on my essay. Friday I have to hand it in and I had to do a lot about it. But this afternoon at 4 o'clock I finished it completely. It really became pretty beautiful, I did lots of pictures in it.

Afterwards I have helped Niels providing the newspaper and at 6 o'clock we finished the job.
