Heavy storm tonight!

Lots and lots of wind….

Tonight Dad and Piet our neighbor took all the garden furniture inside. They said that there will be a very heavy storm tonight and the weather man said that there is a weather alarm because the storm will be very heavy between 23:00 PM tonight and 2:00 AM tomorrow morning…. ...bbbbrrr.... that’s not nice such a storm man…....

Not long after Dad and Piet took all the garden things inside the basketball pole in the garden fell down to the ground. Man the wind is blowing very hard right now, you don’t believe it! I’ll hope that Santa under the shed in the garden won’t fly away…..

Go to bed now and I’ll hope that the weather will be a bit better tomorrow night when we have to light all those fireworks….. bye… see you tomorrow!

To the Woods......

The Green Luxuriance…...

This afternoon we went with Ruud to the woods the Green Luxuriance just along the Geniedijk (a dike in the polder in municipal Vijfhuizen (a village not far from the village we live in).
We had taken Bo along and Ruud had taken Gowie with him.

Man what a fun those 2 dogs had there in the woods. Both the dogs were not wearing a dog chain, so they could run as fast as they wanted. Gowie took good care of Bo, if Bo remained a little behind Gowie went back to get him back on the track, so sweet eh?

Tonight Bo had a bath because he was so dirty, full with mud... Now he is sleeping in a warm blanket …. he is so tired from all the running and playing with Gowie…

When Mom took the photograph Bo just woke up…. sweet eh? I also go to bed... bye……see you tomorrow!

This year I was the one who had selected all of it, I choose a lot of rockets and crackers, so cool man. So exciting to let off those fireworks, the only problem is that I’ll have to wait till old years even….. that’s not nice…

Go and watch TV now, there will be a complete review of all the important news of 2006….… bye…. see you tomorrow!

New green and red stars….

We bought Christmas stars in green and red, 2 lamps and 2 Christmas bells. When we came home Dad and I immediately put it all outside in our garden. Christmas is over but the lights outside will stay there till January 6th therefore it will be extra nice now that there are even more lights! Beautiful the garden looks like now eh?

The second Christmas day.......

Timmie, watching our Christmas stable…

Today Dad and I brought Grandpa Frans home. Afterwards we have been to our next door neighbors for a drink. Later on this evening we had dinner at our house, just a lovely fondue with all sorts of meat. Man that is always so nice!

Now the Christmas holidays are over….. Thursday Dad and I go to the fireworks shop to pick up our ordered fireworks for old years eve…. so exciting!

I just had a nice play with Timmie, he loves the Christmas stable! He always has to take a look at it, lovely eh?

Nice food and lots of presents.

Here the dinner table fully set for diner....

This afternoon Dad and I picked up grandpa Frans from his home in Purmerend. Not long after we arrived home also grandpa Ron and grandma Sita came over. At first we unwrapped all the presents. Man I have got al lot of presents! A case for my bowling balls, bowling shoes, a game, a couple of books and a couple of computer games….. zo cool man!

Everybody watching the menu card just to see what’s for dinner…...

At first we unwrapped all the presents. After that we sat down for dinner and started with a tiny bite and then we had lobster. In the beginning I didn’t want to try the lobster, but I took one bite and I really loved it! I eat it al but it was rather hard to get the meat out of it so I used a special kind of pincers and a strange kind of long fork. But that was, however, cool to do. Mom called it gourmetten (typical Dutch Christmas tradition, just like Raclette, but instead of cheese we use meat) but then in a different way. So nice to see that everybody is working hard to get something to eat.

The lobster..... Well it was pretty nice!

Granddad is explaining us how you have to break the lobster....

It was a very, very nice evening..... but nou I go to bed...... bye... see you tomorrow!

To the midnight mass.....

The Christmas stable....

Yesterday night we have been with Ruud and Femke to the childrens midnight mass in the village that they live in. That mass was entirely made for children and their parents and there was a little children’s singing choral. The priest told the Christmas story of Joseph and Maria who went to Bethlehem and all children could sit right next to him on the stairs to the altar. After the mass there was lemonade, tea, coffee and gluhwein with Christmas bread for everyone.

After the midnight mass we all went to our place to have dinner and unwrap some Christmas presents. Man I got a beautiful computer game Transport Tycoon, so cool!

This afternoon just before dinner we will unwrap the rest of the Christmas presents.

See you later!

Merry Christmas!

I wish everyone a very happy and beautiful Christmas!

All Christmas lights!

The lights in Den Ilp...

Tonight we have been to Den Ilp to watch the with lights decorated gardens.

Man what a people over there, it was so busy…. There was one big traffic-jam to get to that village. The main street in Den Ilp was completely filled with cars with people in it who came to watch all the with lights decorated gardens. Well it really was overwhelming; I’ve never seen something like it. There was one garden... you really can’t believe it, it was so beautiful! All the trees were decorated with little lights, there were Santa’s and even more lights, so cool man!

I’m going to do some more savings for next year, so I can buy some more lights next year. This year we have bought a reindeer with lights in it. But next year there will be more lights in our garden, I really like it so much all those light, so cool!

Go and play with Timmie for a while…bye… see you tomorrow!

Christmas breakfast at school!

Just waiting before we can finally start eating…….

This morning we had to go to school half an hour later than we normally do, because it became rather late last night in church.

All children from the school are now sitting at their tables….

In the large hall all the tables were nicely set and everywhere were little lights lit up. But then we had to wait till we could finally start. Well it was pretty nice!

Our teacher was sitting at my table…...

But now it’s holiday time, no more homework and I’m only going to do nice things!

Tonight I went shopping with Dad, we bought some Christmas presents, just 3 more nights till its Christmas!
Go upstairs…. bye..... see you tomorrow!

Christmas musical in Church!

Joseph and Maria at the manger....

Tonight we had to be in Church at 6.30 PM to do our Christmas school musical. Mark had to do a big part in it…... he was Joseph and he also had to sing a song entirely on his own. Well Mark it went very well!

I participated with the rest of my class in the chorus. It was great in church and also very busy, man what a lot of people!

The entire church was completely full, in the back people were standing because there were no more seats....

Maria.... entirely only her own at the stage...

The shepherds...

It was very nice and pleasant evening but now I go to bed…bye …. see you tomorrow!

Making Christmas cookies!

Decorated cookies for the Christmas tree….

This afternoon at first I have been to the village centre to buy me a book. Crusade in jeans, which is a very exciting book. I can hardly wait to read it.

Afterwards I went to Mark’s and there was Romay as well. We sat down at the computer for awhile and after that we went all to my place just to play with Bo for awhile.

Tonight after dinner I have made beautiful cookies to put in the Christmas tree. They are delicious man, but I can’t eat them yet I’ll have to wait till after the first Christmas day…...mmmmm... too bad.

Go and play with Timmie for some time……..bye…see you tomorrow!

The Christmas presents!

Many of them eh?

Just a couple of days and than it will be Christmas! Our Christmas presents are already under the Christmas tree, there are many presents eh?

Thursday evening we’ll go with my school to the Church and than we’ll have to do a musical there. Mark will play Joseph and must also sing a song all by him self. 2 Years ago I was Joseph in the school musical; I then had just broken my arm in 2 places and almost couldn’t play along. But I played the entire musical and it was nevertheless pretty good! However, exciting it will be for Mark this Thursday!

Friday morning we are having a Christmas breakfast at school that is always a big party. The most I like are the crackers with sugar, man they are so delicious, I sometimes eat 5 of them!

Go upstairs... bye…see you tomorrow!

Santa’s suit for Bo!

Bo didn’t want to put on his Santa’s cap…. however he likes to chew on it….

This afternoon we have been to Purmerend to grandpa Frans. Also Bo went along. Everyone was there, also my cousins Koen and Lars. Man they really turned big!

When we returned home Bo was so tired that he immediately fell asleep in his basket. Here above a photograph of Bo which we have used for our Christmas card, nice eh?

Go upstairs... bye… see you tomorrow!

Christmas everywhere!

The 4 lakes shopping centre in Hoofddorp (a village quite near our village)...

This afternoon we have been to Hoofddorp to do some Christmas shopping. It was really Christmas over there with a Santa and Christmas trees everywhere.

Tonight we have been to the music school because there was a Christmas Bingo over there. There were a lot of prices, man so many you won’t believe it. But we haven’t won anything. Some people did have Bingo 5 times and even more. There was one woman at our table she won 5 prices. And when we finally left she gave us a book what she had won, she already had that one at home in her bookcase and we didn’t get any price so she wanted us to have something too.

We hadn’t won lots of prices but it was a fun evening and nevertheless it all was for a good aim. The roof of the school is pretty bad and there has to come a new roof what will cost quite a lot of money.

It is terrible late by now almost midnight; I go to bed….bye …see you tomorrow!

Yes, yes, yes I've got it!

My new TV.... at last, after a very long period of saving all my money!

Today they had a very beautiful TV offer at the Makro (Metro). Dad went to the Makro at first this afternoon to have a look just to see if they had that TV offer still available and they had it. So we all went together to the Makro this evening to buy it. Man I saved my money for such a long time but this offer was so great that I had the entire amount of money exactly all together so I could just buy it, great eh?
Immediately after we came home we did put the TV in my room…it’s so cool!

Go upstairs to watch TV in my room….see you tomorrow!

Our garden.....

Yesterday we have put more light tubes in the garden, man it’s really getting so cool!

Now it’s almost ready except for Santa, he still has to go outside, but he has to have a new head because last year it broke by all the snow that went all over him.

We have already bought a new ball but that is still entirely blank so we have to paint him a new face… Pretty difficult to do, but mom and I will try to give him a new face….We’ll see what happens…

Yes, we succeeded! The head of Santa is finished and now he is sitting in the garden....so cool man!

Santa in his rocking chair….

Go upstairs... bye…see you tomorrow!

Just a little Christmas in the house...

Bo just woke up…..

Yesterday Mom decorated our home a little with some Christmas things, so Christmas is coming into our home. In the background behind Bo you can see our Christmas crib and on the window there is a Christmas wreath. Bo loves the Christmas crib very much, sometimes he is standing right in the crib with two legs and is playing with the moss in the crib, Mom is not at all amused by that! This weekend we will set up our Christmas tree, man I can’t wait!

Go upstairs....bye…see you tomorrow!

XXL!

mmmm..... delicious!

Yesterday Mom wasn’t home for dinner last night so Dad and I went to Burger King….. I had a xxl burger, a double burger with a lot of cheese, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and bacon....man that is so great!

It was only very annoying that Dad was called by his work all the time while we were eating our burgers, man that is so irri......

We came home pretty late so I couldn’t write anymore yesterday. But now must I stop because I have to let out Bo and afterwards I have to go to school….

Later!

St. Nicholas!

Bo is playing with my surprise (called gangster) for school.....

This morning I went to school with my surprise which I worked on for weeks. Man that was really a very hard job. Yesterday I have put the surprise, the dog Gangster, in a very big box from 0.70 cm by 1.20 meter, so big man!

Wrapping up Gangster.....

I had drawn Mark in the St. Nicholas lottery and I have made a very large dog for him. Mark wanted a dog as well so badly but his mother won’t allow him one, for this reason I have made him a dog. So he nevertheless got his dog as a pet after all! He was very glad with its surprise!

Arrival of St. Nicholas this morning at our school...

St. Nicholas arrived at the school this morning by animal-ambulance. Americo (St. Nicholas horse) had a fall and had a sore ankle; therefore the animal-ambulance had to come and that ambulance brought St. Nicholas to our school.

Here is St. Nicholas…....

All the children from our school were singing St. Nicholas songs for St. Nicholas and his black Pieter’s when he came up our school yard.

It was very nice day at school... but now I’m tired and go to bed.....bye….see you tomorrow!

Hare hunting!

Pang... pang on the field near our house....

This afternoon when we left home I saw that there was a hare hunting going on at the field at the end of our street. There were more than 30 men with guns out there to kill the hares in the field. They say that there are too much hares and that they have to be killed. I always hate the sound of the guns. Then you hear a couple of hours long only pang... pang and then think I aaaaaccch... there goes an other one ...bbbrrrr... I hate that sound.

Fortunately we went out to do something nice after that, buying a Christmas tree! Well we’ve got one and it is a very beautiful tree! We also bought a great Christmas deer with lights. That one I wanted so bad last year but they are very expensive. So I started a new piggy bank last year so I could buy one for next Christmas. We have all put in some money so now and then s0 we could finally buy the beautiful deer, it’s so cool man!

It's beautiful eh?

I go upstairs; tomorrow I have an important Bowling tournament in Maarssen....exciting! Bye…see you tomorrow!
