Earthquake?

Seismograph.....

This morning I heard on the radio that there was an earthquake in Groningen with the strength of 3.5 on the scale of Richter! It was the heaviest earthquake ever measured in the North part of the Netherlands. Fortunately there was not much damage only a couple of houses got some cracks in the walls. It wasn’t the first time that there was an earthquake in Groningen and they say that there is much more to come. It’s all the result of the gas winning in Groningen, how more gas they obtains from the ground the more chance there is on earthquakes. I think that’s quite scary.

Today I went with Dad to his work. We have also been not only in the building in
Amsterdam but also to Hoofddorp (a city a few miles from here). There we had a lot of things to do; it was rather cool to do a real job there!

Go and read for awhile in my new book…bye…see you tomorrow!
