Red Cross at school!

Everybody in the tent, listening to the Mrs. who is telling us what they do at the Red Cross...... They help with calamities just like the one sometime ago in Enschede with the fire works and the big fire in Volendam!

Today Chris had his lecture at school. He had a lecture about the Red Cross. His father is a volunteer at the Red Cross and he always has work if there are calamities. He also was at the big fire in Volendam in 2001. Chris’s father showed us a lot of things which they use when they have to save people.

There was a large tent from the Red Cross at the schoolyard.

Everybody in the tent. Ambulance with a trailer at the schoolyard.

Everybody is watching Chris’s father who is busy in the ambulance...

It was very nice afternoon at school!

Tomorrow we’ll get the tropical school hours at last. Tomorrow morning at 8.00 AM school starts and I’ll be out at 11.15 PM... mmmm that’s great…. It’s much too hot in our classroom.

Go and play with Timmie for a while, he is also very hot. From time to time I make my hands a little wet with water and then I caress his fur with my wet hands….he likes that, just to freshen up a little bit.

Bye …see you tomorrow!
