To Artis!

The lions with their cubs hiding for the snow.....

This morning at 9:30AM we met Mark at the bus stop to go to Artis ( the Zoo in Amsterdam) with Mom. The trip went very fast and we arrived at Artis just after 10:00AM. It was awful quiet at Artis ... there even was not a card control... we could almost pass through without showing our tickets! The weather became very bad when we arrived in the restaurant for lunch. We had nice French fries and a Dutch croquette when the snow fell down terrible hard.

We have watched everything in Artis…. Yindee the small elephant, Iwana the giraffe, only Pompidoe the owl was not there, who probably sat inside because of the cold…
It was great day only very cold... I’m still cold ….... bbrrrrr....

The Olympic sportsmen were today at the queen’s palace for a ribbon! (shower of titles, stars and ribbons) Nice eh?
