Very heavy beer truck!

The Bavaria beer truck which was too heavy for the car parking....

This afternoon when I got home from school the TV was on. Mom was watching the news. There was ever since this morning a car parking in the West part of Amsterdam (the new shopping centre at the Bos en Lommerplein, which is just 1 year open!) on collapsing. This morning at 9 AM there was a big beer truck who drove full with beer into the garage (it was much too heavy) then the driver suddenly felt the floor moving, it just looked as if there was an earthquake the driver of the truck said. The floor in the parking was torn more over then 10 meters (33 feet).

That truck was there the complete day, they could only take it away when they just had put supporting beams under the floor where the truck stood.

It was a very dangerous situation there all day …. It was breaking news the entire day on TV… Happily everything turned out good, all the people who live above the parking returned back home this evening. It’s not yet entirely safe the shops and the market remain closed …. ..... I’ll hope they can repair the parking as soon as possible so the people can come there and do not have to worry about their safety….
